Whether a User in an Room has a Status (e.g. OP) recognizes one by it some special character before its stands. In each Chatclient special characters for a Status are not used. In XChat the Status is e.g. represented by colored marking.
~ Owner (+q) has at most Right. It can e.g. give the Admin Status to User.
& Admin (+a) can assign OP and lower.
@ Operator (+o) can avoid and kick User. HOP, OP and voice can also give and take.
% Half-Operator (+h) can avoid and kick User. He cannot assign OP Status.
+ Voice (+v) entitled a user in an area to write is moderated. Sometimes a User get voice as indications of it, which they are gladly in the Channel seen.
In the Quakenet there is only OP and voice Status!
Begging for Status leads mostly fast to the Kick!
